Guidelines as follows:
Please spell check and proof your work before submission.
We are relaxed about word count around here. It should be at least a page. Articles that exceed 3 pages *may* be broken into installments or edited.
The topic must be relevant to dances from, or inspired by, the Near and Middle East, or peripherally related.
Your work can take the form of a photo report, interview, educational or entertainment article, opinion paper, review...
Picture(s) of yourself and/or photo's regarding the topic, if applicable, should be included if possible. Embedded video accompaniment also encouraged.
Please omit blatant self promotion in the body of work. If you wish, you can include a brief biography of yourself (one paragraph) that we can publish alongside your article.
We reserve the right to make a determination on whether or not to publish a work. Submission is not a guarantee of publication. If published, your article will remain in the library indefinitely, it will be featured on the homepage and referenced in our network.
Contribute an Arabic, Turkish, Farsi... song translation to our "Belly dancer Lyrics" section. Whether you have amassed a personal collection or simply have one - consider sharing with us, and by extension the global belly dance community. We will credit you, the source, and happily link back to your website or social network space.
If you speak Egyptian Arabic, Levantine Arabic, Maghrebi Arabic, Turkish, or Farsi and would be willing to assist in translating for our lyrics section, we can't wait to hear from you!
