A wonderful descriptive article! I really wish I was there to experience her performances and workshop in NY!
Just to mention, for anyone interested in Artemis and her teaching, I highly recommend the FolkTours events, which she and Tayyar Akdeniz coordinate. I have been a veteran at the Spring retreat in the Mountains of pennsylvania and have enjoyed the seminars and touring with them during their summer festival in Instanbul.
