Tonight we got to know about the art of bellydancing; it's an art, with a set of rules and importance on other aspects other than the belly and the behind! Like face expressions and arm placement.
The aim of the program is to find a real bellydancer, who will show bellydancing as the fine art it is.
We met six new dancers, from the Arab world, Europe and South America.
Here are the names of the dancers and what their performance was like:
Rana from Lebanon - She's not bad and Najwa Fouad liked her!
Naira from France - Very active and the judges thought she was good.
Pousy from Egypt - Over confident and should take the judges advice into consideration!

Stephanie from Lebanon - Her dancing was ordinary and she was out of tune!
Fadwa from Morocco - I loved her energy on stage ... the judges thought she needed to work more on her facial expressions, though!
Maira from Brazil - I really liked her ... she's so natural and her dancing is really nice.
Tonight the unlucky dancer to get the least number of marks and thus cuts short her stay is Stephanie from Lebanon ... Hard Luck Steph!

I don't watch these in my opinion time wasting, shitty shows. But if an Egyptian doesn't win this, that would be sad. Who would belly-dance better than an Egyptian, a European? I don't think so.

Some of the dancers I wish were better but as a teacher of this dance form with high standards myself I am glad to see the show on. I hope it raises the barre around the world. My husband translates all the judges comments. This adds to my education as well. How lucky these dancers are to get the expertise of such wonderful people as Nadra Assaf, Najwa Fouad & Simon Asmar and the others.

okay. number one estelle cannot dance. is she worth being WORLD BELLYDANCE CHAMPIONSHIP no. they are racist against Egyptians and thats sad. Rana coant dance with the music and estelle is such a freak.
