The young and sweet Egyptian actress May Izz El Din has been blamed for the role as a belly dancer that she played in the movie “Aythan” (Does he think?).
May’s fans have been furious with her for the sexual terms that were used in the movie. They say it is suitable for a belly dancer but not suitable for May.
May admits that some of her works were not successful, yet there is a legitimate reason for everything why it was or wasn’t a success.
According to the London Daily Elaph, in an interview, May talks about her relationship with Egyptian singer Tamer Husni, her problem with Zeina and what she thinks of girls who wear bathing suite.
May confesses that she’s been interested in acting ever since she was a young girl. She acted in school plays and that is all what she was interested in. However, her family did not encourage her to become an actress, yet it took her mother three years to be convinced and let her act.
May’s most recent film was the movie “Omar wa Salma” (Omar and Salma), alongside Tamer Husni, where the character she played is very close to her real life personality. In this movie she behaved like she would in real life.
However, the movie “Aythan” is totally different, where she plays the role of a belly dancer. May realized that this movie has opened new doors for her and it made producers view her differently. She realized that her face sells the movie because the movie “Aythan” made significant profit.
May is against wearing bathing suites in public. She has no problem wearing them among her female friends, but not in public. She says she doesn’t wear them because she feels shy doing so. May thinks girls should feel free to wear bathing suite if they are comfortable with wearing them.
May makes clear that she has no intimate relationship with Tamer Husni. It is only a rumor that the two are engaged. Rumors also played a good role in expanding the differences between May and Egyptian actress Zeina. The two had some differences; however, they did not fight physically.
May is preparing for a new project with producer Ahmad Samir which will be launched in the coming Eid Al Adha.
